Irene's classes are a fusion of jazz, modern, ballet, hip hop for flexibility, strength & fun. She teaches with enthusiasm and humour to create a nurturing learning environment for all levels. She provides gentle corrections throughout the class with a view to improving alignment of each individual. Her classes focus on gradually improving strength, flexibility, flow and enjoyment of dance working with a range of sequences in a variety of tempos and dance styles.

Her classes are attended by people of all walks of life.

Born into a very musical family, Irene was encouraged to follow her artistic ambitions. She gained first knowledge in ballet, jazz and tap at the Mignon Dance Centre in Switzerland. Later on she joined the pré-professional dance course at the conservatory in Geneva, before moving to London to study dance and drama.

Since graduating with Distinction from the London Studio Centre in 2005, she has worked as a freelance performing artist/teacher for commercial acts such as Calvin Harris and Agent Provocateur as well as a variety of independent contemporary dance companies. Combining her skills in music, dance and acting, Irene is currently working with Bottlefed, a physical theatre ensemble that creates site-specific theatre, dance and performance art often working with improvisation and live music.
